Does anyone know what ever happend to HS 400m star Obea Moore? I saw him a few years ago running for Life College at the NAIA National Championships. IS he still running, or did he give it up?

If you're referring to the Alan Webb posts, then here's the difference. Obea was cast as another high school phenom. One of the best ever at 400m.
Webb was not just cast as a phenom, but was unfairly billed as the messiah of the sport, the one who would come and rescue American track and field from the ruins.
I would hope that in the future, we are careful of how we bill our stars. I say the same for other sports as well (boy, how lucky the NBA is for LeBron's success!). Peace!Comment
