Just wondering where or when anyone thinks the next one might appear (or has he even been born yet?). Payne and Oliver will both be 30 years old by London. I know we got 2 medals in Beijing (in an event we have swept 4 times), but probably only 1 if Liu was healthy. The US times were somewhat unimpressive, especially considering Johnson ran 12.95 in Atlanta and Kingdom ran 12.98 20 years ago in Seoul. Nehemiah ran 12.93 in 1979 (almost 30 years ago, albeit not in the Olympics).

Guys in their early twenties:
--Jason Richardson of U.South Carolina is very good.
--Aries Merritt has shown flashes of being medal material
--Kevin Craddock ran to a dead heat with Robles at World Juniors '04 when Kevin was just an 11th grade high schooler. If he can just get in a full, uninjured, season 100% healthy, he could make some serious noise.
--Johnny Dutch seems more focused on the long hurdles, but his 13.36 hs mark shows promise
The teens with great potential:
--Booker Nunley
--William Wynne
--Wayne Davis
