Too bad SARS destroyed the Osaka meet.
It looks like Portland is getting some solid fields together finally.
The 400 is a newbies race. It will be something to keep tabs on. Do not get caught up in the times, the competition will be the thing in that race this year

SARS destroyed the Osaka meet? Is this true? Has there even been a single case of SARS in Japan? Last I heard (a few weeks ago), there had not.

I don't think there have been SARS cases in Japan. However, the Chinese team pulled out of the Osaka meet a few weeks back. A couple of other athletes have pulled out, claiming "injury." However, people like Tim Montgomery & Patrick Johnson will still run.
