Anyone got any info on Gateshead. For once I can't watch it on Swedish TV (unitl almost midnight and then I'll be working). Are there any live ticker or anyone watching it?

    Yes I'm watching it.

Rooney wins the 400m in 45.35.

Why have the BBC got the "B" team out? Who is that commentator who isn't Stuart Storey and why do we have random woman doing the interviews ?

The other commentator is Mike Costello - no idea who he is. Also no idea who the woman doing the post-race interviews is, but at least she gives them time to get their breath and she's better than Phil Jones!

A little cool compared to Beijing and there was a headwind just under 1m/s.

Baddeley was absolutely nowhere - I think he came last.

I think it's due to rain pretty soon.

And she doesn't insist on touching the athletes on the hand, arm etc :!: She;s actually really good.

Great, Costello is back again and he's got lots of long names to attempt to pronounce

Not a bad run from Nick Symmonds - he was 3rd or 4th wasn't he?
