I'll go with Clay and Jennski.
Clay's season was short but dominant (moreso than LM's), and the Dec OG title is still #1 in my book.

``new'' events, the situation is similar for the rest of the world.
(With the long distance events as border-line cases for ``new''.)
Men's jumps, throws, and middle-distance are again similar world-wide.
But enough with the off-topic ramblings.

My American AOY's Stuczynski & Merritt
These are my picks for American AOY's. These are the key stats of my picks!
Stuczynski:
- Only American Women to win an indoor and outdoor (olympics) World Medals this year. Silver indoor, Silver outdoor
- She moved to #2 All-Time on world list (highest of all active americans)
- Has won 5 consecutive U.S. Titles (6-overall)
- She broke the American Record 4x since May 07: 2x this year included AR at Olympic Trials in Eugene
- Behind only Isinbayeva (best all-time) without Isi, Stuczynski is indoor world champ, Olympic champ and would have broken world record 3x's.
- Won Visa Outdoor Championship
- She gets my pick as American AOY
Merritt:
- Won U.S. Olympic trials
- Provides the greatest American rivalry for this season and provides one of the greatest world rivalries this year!
- Comes through and best the favorite (Wariner) on biggest stage (Olympics)
