  • Eunice Barber to compete in Bobsleigh

According to the DLV, Eunice Barber has been training for the bobsleigh over the last few weeks, with the intention of moving to this event and competing this winter.

It remains to be seen whether she will do athletics as well, but I cant see how she can fit in the technical training for both. With Kluft apparently not returning to the heptathlon and Blonska banned, it would have been good to see one last hurrah from Barber in Berlin.

There must be a trend starting; Scottish Long Jump record holder Gillian Cooke is also moving to the bobsleigh.

Wasn't the last Skeleton gold medalist a former LJ/Sprinter?

Am I the only person that missed Barber jumped 6.64 for 4th at the MSR? Not bad.

No, but you're one of the few who would pull out a random, dated thread from 17 months ago under another one of your (banned?) handles to pose such a question.
          Fire Impossible.
