Isn't that 9.97 windy? Christie may get him to run sub 10.00 again, but not the year after an achilles injury I should imagine.

His 9.97 was windy. His legal PR is 10.04 and he hasn't broken 10.10 since 2003.

I wonder in hindsight if he would have decided to race in Sydney rather than just focusing on World Juniors.

Linford is a task master, I wonder if MLF will be able to survive the training?

If he coped with Tony Lester's training, then he'll be able to cope with Linford. If anything, I feel this could be a step backwards for him, but time will tell.

What makes you think Tony Lester's training is tougher than Linfords?

Also at least it was only a partial tear and not a rupture, a year out could treat him well like it did for harry-AA and bring his Pb down by .25

              9.72

Maybe worth noting that 'tougher' does not always mean 'better'.

Indeed - my concern is that his injury prone body won't let him do the work that Linford requires to get results. Will be interesting to see.
