  • Bolt to train in Ireland

Usain Bolt has indicated his intention to conduct some of his training at the Limerick university. We are informed that the facilities were highly touted by the New Zealand rugby team and somewhat influenced his decision.

Point to note, Usain Bolt's main sponsor is Digicel (if you have not heard about them yet look out for them, they have a lion's hold on communication in the caribbean and the Pacific and are burgeonoing to be major TNC) which of course is based in the old orange and green.

I hope this boy is smart and asks for nothing less than US $50 per year (seriously!!).

I realize zeroes signify nothing, but shouldn't you add some there anyway?

This is bizarre! That's my current Uni, but I'll believe it when I see him here. The facilities are good, but one thing he should know is that it's permanently raining here!

Sure, that's what I was thinking. What about this BMW driving course he is to undertake? Too many distractions. The next thing I want to hear from this guy is that he is training again.

Maybe he can get a Royale with Cheese to go with it.

I find this so difficult to believe. Limerick is possibly one of the most horrendous cities in Ireland/Europe/The world. I wish I was kidding, but I lived there for two months one summer....and it was a LONG summer. Ireland is obviously an amazing place, but- the weather is so bad, the culture is so completely different to anything he'd be used to.....I just can't see him lasting longer than a week!

IF he could SOMEHOW get used to it and settle in for a while, Paul Hession would greatly benefit from sharing a track with Bolt. Track and filed in Ireland would get a huge boost from it.
