  • If Allen JOHNSON...

If he sets a new WR and gets Gold in Athens,
will he be considered as the best all-time 100/h
    hudler?
    I think so.
( His palmares is indeed extraordinary...)

He gets the title of greatest if he does EITHER of them IMHO.

If he gets the world record or not, he is the best 110m hurdler of all time. He has been the most consistant over the years, and has gone sub 13sec. more then anyone else.

I agree. In my opinion, anything he does from now until he retires is just icing on the cake. He's the greatest.

If he doesn't run another race he has had the greatest ever career over the 110's !!!

How do you work that one out???
Allen won in Goteborg in 1995, Athens in 1997, Edmonton in 2001 & Paris (last year) in 2003.
                That's 4 isn't it???

Maybe in a 400. But i believe 12.92 trumps 12.93, any way you look at it.

Skeets may have had the potential to have been faster .. But potential means you haven't done it yet !!

Allen ran 45.xx in the 4x4 heats. Tied up down the homestretch, but nonetheless, did his tour of duty on the relay. It was awesome watching him go out of his comfort zone and helping out his team... what a true team player.
