Why is Webb running this when he has Tyson next week. Anyway 8th place is pretty good. I heard conditions were terrible.

I was there.... although it was very cold and the ground was frozen and covered with hard snow, the runners appeared to be running with no problems.. saw no falls or slips.

Being a casual observer of current US distance running I have not heard a whole lot about Gruber. I know he has beaten Webb twice in rather slow mile races. For a guy who has just barely broken 4 minutes for the mile he seems to be pretty successful. Maybe his best event is at longer distances.
Is he running in the Olympic trials. Does anyone have any information of him.
