  • Rupp not the most famous runner on Oregon's campus

Move over Rupp, there is a more famous runner on Oregon's campus.

El Guerrouj leaves for USA to study

Kind of funny that the fastest student miler on UofO's campus has never ran for their track team.

He certainly chose the wrong school if he wants to blend in like a regular anonymous student.

His time in the sun has already passed: he'll be unrecognizable to 99.9% of the student body.

Yes, but that 0.1% won't leave him alone.

More than 20-40 people are going to recognize him, especially after stories in the campus paper. BTW, what is the significance of the 34,500; is that the number of people (or students) on campus?

Could he technically run in the NCAAs? Or is he too old? Funny to think about really.

You guys are underestimating the abilities of the Oregon compliance dept. (see Rupp, Galen)!
