      Ivan Ukhov won the HJ competition in Trinec today with 2.33 (WL), ahead of Andrey Tereshin 2.30 and Linus Thornblad 2.27. Vita Styopina won the women's competition in jumpoff ahead of Iva Strakova, both having cleared 1.92. Full results here

        In Hustopece today, Ivan Ukhov increased his WL to 2.34m and Ariane Friedrich cleared 2m again.

          Ivan Ukhov won the Moscow HJ with music competition yesterday with 2.30m. Aleksey Dmitrik cleared the same height to place second. Victoriya Klyugina won the women's comp with 1.94m.

            Ukhov always puts up a pretty aggressive campaign indoors. Here's hoping he can carry that to the big show this summer.

                  Ukhov has been very consistent so far. Something to prove? Perhaps they have good training facilities at The Raisa Gorbachev Center?!

                  Let's hope he sets an indoor pb this season and motivates Silnov to do the same...

                        Back when they were 1st and 2nd in Rome (87'), they wore USSR outfits. To most americans they were from Russia. I do know their individual country representations though. Paklin went to school in Tashkent if I'm not mistaken.
