      She's 33/34 I think. That's fairly impressive, if unexpected. Should make for a good battle at the Euro indoors between herself, the Russians and the Poles.

            Indeed - I've always thought Fernandez and Rodriguez have never really fulfilled their potential and I think they have both spent a lot of time out with injuries.

              Both Fernández and Rodríguez gave a birth last year .
              Nuria Fernández was training in Ifrane (MAR),altitude .It was in january

                i'm not sure what to make of this gal at 32y - she ran 4'01.77 & at 1k was on for only 4'07

                without doubt at even pace she couda gone << 4'00i & when you look at all-time lists :

                if you scrub soby & foamy, leaves burka as "true" wr holder at 3'59.75 ( albeit iaaf list soby's 3'58.28 as wr - i assume that just preceded the sample-swapping fiasco ), which i don't think wouda been any trouble for this gal
