This thread now locked too (after two split-offs).

Stream-of-consciousness threads are not user friendly; keep events to themselves plz.

You've got at least three places for Euro Champs comments. Shut down two of them, please.

That's twice as many as were eliminated in the heats of the w60H at USATF last weekend!

Zbrozhek looking better than Cusma Piccione in winning the final w800 heat. I've never paid much attention to Cusma (got distracted by Jelimo last season for some reason) but her head seems to roll from side to side a lot!

By the way, is there much point in having a first round that only eliminates 2 runners?

Tamgho material moved into its own thread. Without some splitting off of events this thread will quickly become unreadable.

Looks just like a case of something wrong with the online results.

"Never attribute to a mystery anything that can be explained by incompetence."

But while Darien and Scott have been reinstated in the online results, Borisov still remains DQ'd...

Meadows wins the first round of the w800 fairly easily. Savinova of Russia looks good but took it very easy I thought.

Edit: Darien and Scott have been reinstated according to the last look at the results site but Borisov still DQ. I did see him virtually knock the last hurdle{?} to one side almost with his lead leg so it could have something to do with that.

Having never managed to convert her form through the major champs before, she's oddly turning into a major championship performer- average heat, good semi and through to the final- she did the same thing in the Olympics...

Hope she can do better in the final than she did there...

Nytra would have been even better if she hadn't lost her rhythm just before the end. Now Hildebrand qualifies in the weaker semi while Nytra misses a possible medal .
