Wow Chambers shuts down and cruises to 6,53!!!

So far in the other semis Collio was not impressive with his 6,72 and have to rely on time(will probably be enough).

Di Gregorio on the other hand looked good equalling his PB with 6,60 with Schwab right behind him at 6,64.

Williamson wins his heat with 6,61 after a good finish. Close behind.

Sub 6.5 before the day's out? He looked very comfortable running that time.

I'd say he was sub 6,50 already now if he had pushed all the way. I see 6,46-47 in a final.

BTW really hard to believe that Guliyev is a junior and 18.......

                          Great run for Chambers.
He is 30 yrs old and running better clean than he was when he was doping.
A great lesson for all athletes out there......

Eldrick is right, whatever Chambers was taking was nothing compared to what he'd have managed on what Eldrick called a bog-steroid. What is that anyway, other than the standard stuff everyone used in the 80's? :?

But then, given the Kelli White regimen, I cannot imagine they get nothing out of the "current" peds. What a weird but wonderful result is this 6.42. Isn't the world record 6.39 by Mo Greene? I can't get the IAAF site to show an all time list, where is Chambers after this run? Thanks!

                              6.39 - Mo Greene

                              6.42 - Dwain Chambers

                              (Greene has two 6.39s, along with a 6.40, 6.41 and 6.42)
