I read alot in the forums how the media has no interest in covering track and field.Like in any other sport it is not up to the media to create interest,but for us to create the interest.The agents who represent our athletes also need to get on board the marketing bandwagon.Sports like motorcross,and other sports sell out arenas right in this country,because of mass marketing to a targeted audience.We need to find out who our audience is! If we take more of an active role in marketing then maybe the media will realize that we actually are alive after the olympics.
