The think I took away from seeing this live was that, while exciting, it wasn't quite as close as the marks would indicate. Patterson brushed the bar on last three or so clearances, while Hooker had lots of air between her and the bar.

Imagine what this young woman could do if she was serious about the event. And I thought Erin Aldrich wasted her ability. She was not in the same league as Hooker.

Great competition!

Since T&FN follows the IAAF rules (much more progressive and modern than the dinosaurs at USATF), the 6-6 equals the CR, period, matching a pair of outdoor marks.
