    Anita WÅ‚odarczyk threw 75.05 :!: That's a PB by over 2 meters, and she had a great series as well (72.43 72.91 74.54 72.71 X 75.05).
    Było smaszno, a jaszmije smukwijne...

That's really awesome throwing. Whatever about the gigantic last throw, her series is fantastic. She's really come to the fore of the event over the past year and a half - taking over from where Kamila left off. Good for her and I hope she can sustain this throwing until Berlin.

With Moreno out for the year, there's a medal up for grabs.

I believe there's a little Yipsi expected to come into the world later this year

Two-time World champion and Olympic medallist Yipsi Moreno is taking sabbatical year as she is expecting to become a mother later in 2009.

                Oh cool.

I was worried she was injured.

Best mark ever this early in the season, apparently with negligible wind assistance no less. With this form the WR will be seriously threatened on his US windchasing tour...

Actually, http://www.team75plus.com/18344 reports that we could see a new WR from Kanter anyway. Guess our local boy knows more about that though
