  • Two HBCU winners so far

at the NCAA indoor. Texas, do you have any history on best NCAAs for HBCU schools?

Not right off the top of my head other than HBCU athletes winning the 100/200/400 at the 1951 outdoor NCAA's.

If there is one event where HBCU athletes shine, it is the 110's.

      Lots of info here:
      Men: http://web1.ncaa.org/web_files/stats/tr ... mitfd1.pdf
      Women: http://web1.ncaa.org/web_files/stats/tr ... witfd1.pdf

Lots of men's winners over the years from HBCU. I think that the most recent was Kevin Hicks at 800 from Florida A&M in 2005.

I only counted three women's winners from HBCU over the years, most recently Hampton's Yvette Lewis in 2006 in the TJ.
