With a bit of interweb chicanery I've find a URL which doesn't have as many "frame" issues:

Shame to see Jason Dudley out of decath after only 1 event.

And it turns out neither Rawlinson appeared for the 400mH

Damn! That QLD record survives another year and might reach its majority. Still, he only turns 25 later this year but I do note that 25 is the oldest athlete over 8k in the Australian all-time list.

A shock still to see Clinton Hill not make the 400 final - but good to see Chris Troode back on two legs at last.

Looks like Wroe is another "Maree Holland" 1/2/4 treble aspirer. Aiming high, but probably notwhere near it.

With the Decathlon, disappointed to see Jarrod Sims not there - have been hoping he'd get over 8k for a while.

And since Kylie Wheeler resumed the other week in Perth, shame she's not competing with Lauren Foote who - on her day - could be a lot closer to 6k than she has been in the past.

Val Vili's 20.22m probably still the highlight of the meet so far

And yeah AS - the AA ''team"" need a huge boot up the arse. Hard enough to even find the live results on the AA website, let alone the stupid framery..

Or if you use this one:

Then you still have the frame on the side (without it all being contained within another page).

              Jon,

              Thanks for the better URL.

And yes, Vault-e, AA continue to frustrate web-wise. They've buried the rankings on their new page design too.

Here's some coverage of Tamsyn Lewis' 400mH aspirations:

              http://www.theage.com.au/news/sport/lew ... 03323.html

I'll be genuinely flabbergasted if she can get down to OG finals speed over the barriers...

Wroe's treble dream has died (out in semis of 100m).

McLellan's NR talk may well hinge on the wind turning around. There's been pretty consistent 0.5-1.5 headwinds much of the day...

New PR from Wroe, and Steffensen gets closer to his best:

                  400m Final:
                  1 Sean Wroe 45.07
                  2 John Steffensen 45.51
                  3 Kurt Mulcahy 46.33

Standout efforts from final night of champs:

Lapierre 8.29m (0.8) PR (moves to 33 on Aussie all-time list)
Riseley 3:35.71 PR (perhaps passing H.Elliot's 3:35.6h on all-time list)
                    McLellan 12.74 (-1.3)
                    Anlezark 20.09m
                    T. Lewis 56.27 400mH PR (to win 15th National Title, one more than Boyle or Freeman)
                    Farquhar 80.16m

Lewis should consider the 400mh this summer rather than the 400m flat. 56.27 after quite a heavy programme is very good, and if she can work on the technical aspect she should be running 54 somethng with her flat speed, enough to get the a final, whereas her 400m flat isn't enough.

Lewis is clearly in VERY good form...that double was impressive this weekend- 56.2 as a novice with little real competition is not bad at all...surely her name could get her into a few decent European races and I can see that time coming down into the 54s easily...

Does this meet have any bearing on the WC team? With several significant MIAs, I would guess at least some people have been pre selected, but don't know.

                            I think auto/pre selections are:

                            McLellan 100H
                            Samuels DIS
                            Rawlinson 400H wildcard
                            Webb 20W

                            Abdi SC
                            Hooker PV
                            Bannister JAV
                            Tallent 20/50W
                            Adams 20W
                            Erickson 50W
                            Deakes 50W wildcard

This can't be right. 33 Aussies over 8.29?
