Just barely under 6 feet, but 16-year old (grade 10) Prince George, BC jumper Alyx Treasure jumped 1.82 at last year's BC championships.
I first saw her jump when she was 14, and she jumped 1.73. It was quite a sight to see, as she could walk fully under the bar without touching it.

Of course, volleyball does not preclude a collegiate track career - in fact, the training almost certainly is a big part of what she's accomplished in the high jump. They compliment each other quite nicely.

Ohio soph Taylor Burke went 5'11" at our indoor state meet last Saturday. Proud to say I saw it in person.

prep junior Hannah Wilms jumped either 6-0 or 6-ΒΌ yesterday at Northern Iowa. (I say either because it's list as the higher English with 1.83, which is the lower; need to find out the measuring system)
In either case, it's the first indoor 6-footer since '02 and the highest indoor jump since '87.
