So, are you insinuating that before the drop FSU was ahead?

Looked to me like it was neck and neck. Bynum pulled even with Demps who was outside of him.

I wish they had not dropped the baton. However, Byram pulling even with Demps is good news.

Well shit, I was actually really hoping to see what he would start his season off with, but if people were gaining on him in the relay, then I guess I'm almost happy to not have to watch him open the season with an 11 flat or whatever the hell.

Hopefully he gets in the groove soon though, I wanna see that kiddo run sub 10 asap! Give something for Yohan to think about maybe!

The weather defeated UF in one area: It prevented freshman Jeff Demps from making his scheduled debut. Demps was expected to compete as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team and possibly in the 100-meter dash.

The 4x100 relay was not run during the three-day event, and according to Holloway, Demps was just not ready for the 100-meter dash.

“He was entered, but we never really planned for him to run,” Holloway said.

“He’s probably gonna open up later in the season. He’s just not ready for 100s yet.”

Instead, fans will have to wait until this weekend’s home meet, the Florida Relays, to see Demps in action, if weather permits.

So, didnt you say you watched Byram gain on Demps? Which mean Demps did run in the 4x1, correct? That article is straight up wrong, the 4x1 was held, UF dropped the baton, something the coach failed to mention, lol.
