They finished 11th and 15th - they didn't really go with the early pace but came through strongly on the last lap.

just a sidenote the 5th place finisher in the junior mens race has a dob of june 30th 1993 which would make him 15 years old and still a junior in 2012.

The junior women's team race was even closer. Ethiopia 18, Kenya 18, with Ethiopia winning on the tie-break regulation.
