he did detach himself a coupla times, but re-attached again & i think finally cracked at 22 or 23 miles which is pretty close o the end

if he'd carried on at similar pace as 62'35 1/2-way split, he certainly shouda got into 2"05s, but he tried to follow a 14'21 split from 30 - 35k - that likely killed him
