Carter slowed down about 10-15m out after being clearly ahead of the pack. I wonder if he felt something or slow down to quickly. Interesting to hear what happen.

Frater slow down also, but he didn't look disturb. It was a plan strategy, I guess. Yoham Blake, is licking at his bits for the final 100m spot. Can't wait to see him racing on the circuit.

Qualified: First 3 in each heat (Q) and 2 best performers (q) advance to the Final

The IAAF web site is listing the Men's 100m "result" using the times from the heats, showing points etc. Yet the official timetable says that there will be an actual final an hour after the first heat. The results I posted above are from the event itself, not the IAAF, and they indicate qualifiers for a final. Can anyone clear this up?

Dominating victory by Paget in the final. 10 seconds flat with a 1+ wind.

With Tyson Gay having a bye into the 100m, the US men are looking great so far. Both Dix and Paget with 10.00 co world leaders to date.

The US men could have 4 men in the final in Berlin.

Jamaica definitely will not have a cake walk this year
