The hurdles are a bit different because of that hitting them thing and it is an issue at the top because the fastest runners have the smallest margin for error. Was Devers a runner that could not preform at the big show?

    Wow.

The Oly Medal has really boosted her confidence.

I believe she won at Milrose this year too coming strong after the last hurdle....she's been on it.

Well, athletes in all sports are finding out that, you could dominate all year long, but it's what you do at the major meets in that particular is what really counts!!

Eg. New England Patriots (USA-Football 2007-08) 18-0, then lost the most important game of the season. The first thing that pop out is that New York Giants won the super bowl and defeated the privious 18-0 Patriots.

Asafa fabulous races and world records, but no individual World Championships or Olympics gold to show!

Usain Bolt mentioned, I could win all the races and be the world record holder, but if I don't win at the Olympics... it's like it doesn't count.

    He is so right!!

She looked fabulous!! This could be an interesting W 100mH at Berlin. By then everyone should be in top form.

I wonder what was her prize for setting a new meet record?

Yeah it was Doha where everyone seems to run a lot faster...

Felix PR'd here last year in the 100 (10.93) and then came back and ran a 49.83 as well.

David Oliver PR'd here last year (12.95).

    Brigitte Foster-Hylton ran a 12.56 in the 100h last year with a 1.8 wind.

    Fast track?

Is this the meet that usually has the ridiculously fast times? Didn't David Oliver run real fast here last year as well as some others or am I thinking of a different meet?

Forget the early-May part. It's a PR period. Old best 12.60 in '06. (and i fyou like trivial trivia, her old May PR was 12.63, also in '06)
