I wonder how significant the lane order will be here? Sanders can keep Felix in her sights, while presumably Williams wont feel Felix until the top bend. I'm not familiar with Hastings or Hargroves race strategies.

As posted on the other thread, Felix to win between 49.9 - 50.4.
Behind her it should be close between Hastings, Hargrove and Williams. If this were a month later I'd say Sanders would be in the mix, but I think it's a wee bit too early for her. Still, she may surprise after that 2:03 800m. If she runs 51.2 or quick then she's on track.

Here are my predictions from the other thread:

      Felix 49.99
      Hastings 50.32
      Hargrove 50.57
      Williams 51.3
      Sanders. 52.6

(Hastings bruised her foot running barefoot at Penn so that may be a factor but I hope not).

I didnt know Hasting would be in lane 2, though.

And I believe Sanders will run faster than I predicted maybe a high 51.

IIRC Sanders' fastest opener is 51.17 in June last year, so 51.xx will say she's on track. Shericka Williams beat Richards in 50.99 a week or so ago, so if Felix 'only' runs low 50.x then she could have a fight on her hands.

They're not sisters. And they are not related to Clora Williams (the other Jamaican 400m runner) either.

It's been a long day ... ops:

When I saw Jon had posted I thought I'd got the time wrong as well! I give it 5 minutes before someone posts that I got the time wrong too.

Anyway, even if it's Shericka W, plus Natasha Hastings, I think Felix will still have a fight on her hands if she runs low 50.x. So there!

                You're right, they're not.

Had a bet on Hastings vs Sanders and now that h2h has been removed from the bookie, any news on withdrawals?
