Just some random observations after scanning the results...
Class A HJ very good, maybe the best of the five classes.
A Darrin Hancock was listed representing Griffin. There was a great basketball player a few years ago with the same name, from the same school. I don't remember where the elder DH wound up in college, but I think it was Kansas.
Nice to see a Chattanooga-area athlete win the PV for Gordon Lee, in Class A. The Trojan girls should fare well next week in Albany in the vault. There is something going on in the vault in Chickamauga, home of Gordon Lee HS, and I don't know what it is. A Gordon Lee HJer also went 6-8. Good job! Gordon Lee is a great little school. Very unique place.
Some great names. Hard to pick the best between Sir Paul and Lil diamond...
Georgia has an interesting set-up in track with the boys in Jefferson and the girls in Albany. Wish I knew how well the meet is done in Jefferson.
