Is Tiffany Mcwilliams injured, I haven't seen any results on her since last year?

I was gonna say she got hit by a car, but that was just before the '06 Nationals. Good question.

I swore to God you were making fun of her absence until I read the sentence a third time.

Saw in David Monti's Race Results Weekly that she ran at the Gumtree 10K in Tupelo, MS last weekend. Some interesting Russian masters also ran:

Flynn Sports Management announced Thursday that 1500m runner Tiffany McWilliams has signed a highly lucrative deal with Adidas, which reportedly makes her the highest-paid female distance runner in America.

              The Flynn quotes were great.

Some of those are pretty good. The Robby Andrews "get out of Jersey" one is good also.

At their best, those guys (whoever they are--anyone know?) are very funny. Some of their stuff falls flat, but they crank those out at a pretty good clip and it's hard to maintain a consistently high level of humor with that kind of stuff.

                  I think it's kinda mean.
Seems like a cheap shot at a hard-working athlete who as far as I know hasn't put herself out there for anything but competitive reasons and who has undoubtedly had some professional frustrations.

There was a comment on letsbabble a few weeks ago that she had retired due to frustration with ongoing injury issues. Can't confirm or deny, just passing it along. The 10K could just be a fun run for her.

I thought they were "meaner" to Flynn.
