I just noticed that the other day that Ahnold has proposed selling the LA Coliseum to help bridge California's budget gap. Story posted to front page now.

Considering the audience I should have mentioned the Coliseum.

If I had enough money, I would buy the L.A. Coliseum and then build the best track with ten lanes. I would renovate the seating in the Coliseum so that each seat had a back and two arms and leg room for anyone measuring seven feet tall.
I would build the best press area in the world and make sure the Coliseum had up- to-date bathrooms which would accommodate 7,000 people at a time. I would make sure there were lots of excellent places to eat at the Coliseum as well as many other shops.
Then I would get the world championships to come to the U.S. for the first time. You wouldn't believe the television, radio, newspaper, magazine, internet, etc. publicity for this meet.
How much does Schwarzenegger want for the Coliseum?

I have had my most thrilling track and field moments in the LA Coliseum: My first sub 4 mile in person when Herb Elliott ran 3:57.8, a recent H.S. grad who out ran the unbeatable Russians in the 10,000m, Tom Courtney's 1:46.8 WR in the 880 and etc.
I would love great track and field to return to LA and the Coliseum...but I'm afraid those times are gone.
