Unfortunately this is because the American women seem to get to 4.50-4.60 and stall out.

It was nice to see a little pole vault on TV, but man I hate that head-on camera angle. Plus at this meet, not only was it head-on, but it seemed like they were filming from half a mile away.

Oh well, they showed 5 vaults which is about 4 more than we usually get.
