Yordanis Garcia set a short lived (one day) WL in deca, and Sharon Day got a pretty massive PR at the NACAC meet in Habana. Results are on the IAAF site in the news section. Not much story, but breakdown of results. I hadn't realized tha Day had done a multi, but last year she got 5642 wining the Big West meet. In Cuba she had decent marks (for a HJer) in the throws.
