Took some time to find this. The current thread title is a bit misleading

Phillips continues a very impressive comeback. 8.45 (+1.0) in 2nd round.

Great LJ competition! Saladino leads with 8,56WL, right now. 3 rounds to go.

Good depth too, Berrabah 4th with 8,20 and Garenamotse 5th with 8,11, didn't catch who was 3rd but guess it's Sdiri.

Its been 17 years since someone finished 2nd with a mark like 8.54. Hopefully Saladino and Phillips go head to head several times this year.

The feed just showed Phillips' last jump which was a few cm/an inch over the superimposed "leading mark" line they show on the TV. It was only a marginal, 1 cm foul. The man is flying, that's for sure!

Just showed a big foul from Phillips. Great to see all the jumps, not just the winning ones.

That's the way that event should be covered. No head-on shots. Someone send the tape to NBC!

Great jumping by all around. Is the LJ finally on its way back?
