    Evgenyi Lukyanenko (Russia)
    Alhaji Jeng (Sweden)
    **Derek Miles
    Jacob Pauli

It looks like a good field, but where are Walker, Skipper, and Stevens?

I have to assume Lukyanenko will not be happy that Walker won't be there.

It's Hooker's scalp that Lukyanenko wants at this point.

No doubt, but Eugene is Walkers neighborhood so I assume the thought Walker would be there.

And it is Skipper's back yard. Is he still competing? After last year, I would figure he would want a series of small meets followed by something like Pre to put his confidence back together.

Skipper may not be ready for prime time yet. He's competed only once this year and no-heighted.

He got spoiled by the meet he opened at 19', made it and won.

from a friend in the Walker camp:

<<he doesn't want to over-do things leading up to Berlin. He definitely wanted to do Pre, especially after his AR last year, but he's just at the point where competing when he's not quite ready may jeopardize August.>>

Any ideas why Walker isn't jumping/? Is that because he doesn't need to compete at nationals?

As for Skipper, 5 of 7 NHs? Is that due to a series of injuries or a massive crisis of confidence?

Walker has to compete at Nationals, as do all the wild-card owners. It just doesn't matter how well he vaults.

He's NH'd probably 80% of the time since he's graduated college. I'm sure he's used to it.
