Wassup with LeJerald Betters of Baylor?
He's not listed in the lineup for the NCAA championships. Word is he was suspended for 2 years, which pretty much ends his career at Baylor as a key member of the 4x400 and a solid NCAA quartermiler. Does anyone know the reason for the harsh suspension?
The Baylor coach was interviewed at the Big 12 meet and said something about Betters missing a class and a practice, but he obviously thinks the audience is stupid; nobody gets 2 years for that. Oh, and the TV guy doing the interview, incredibility, didn't call BS on that answer.
Anyone got the scoop on Betters?
