As noted in another thread, this is good marketing: slowly feed the public the highlights to increase their interest. Does your ticket-buying ability (which is what this is really all about) depend on knowing who's in the 100?

dear mr jordan why does it take so long to post the start lists for your meet?are the sprinters all hagling for more money, surely you don't have to worry about selling more tickets in eugene.anxious to see if rogers and dix would compete against powell in the 100 let alone gay, but we probably won't find out until saturday.
