Maybe he can get back on the right track ( no pun intended) with respect to his life.

I couldn't get that link to work, but here's an older piece that sums up a lot of it

Thanks, try this link in that it has this as an update.

Former Olympic hopeful Elzie Coleman will have to wait for his probation hearing in jail.

Orange County Court Judge Jeffrey Berry sent the one-time Newburgh Free Academy track star to Orange County Jail Tuesday after the county Probation Department revealed that Coleman flunked a urine test.

It doesn't have to die but it does have to be controlled to some extent.

Unfortunately this is a story that many of us have seen happen far too often.

He's gotta make a change, but the race he is up against is life...his track career is done however.

Knite in conjunction to that, hopefully his situation will turn out for the best, but also others (youth) can use that as a path not to venture down. I'll keep him in my thoughts.

It's sad to see someone with good opportunities made available to them take the back alley route. I hope he really takes this time to do some real soul searching and that no harm comes to him while in jail......

He's not the first, and he probably won't be the last. Yes, it's sad.
