The one thing I have to say is watch out for the winner of the B heat an hour earlier taking the overall win and prize money. Wind always more likely a tail before noon.
Many are forgetting just how much wind was in play in the race in NYC last week. A pre-race analysis of each athlete's last race adjusted for wind would produce a surprising result using TFN's wind chart in the Big Gold Book.

100 METERS - Section II
Asafa Powell (Jamaica)
Walter Dix
Michael Rodgers
Churandy Martina (Neth Antilles)
Richard Thompson (Trinidad)
Marc Burns (Trinidad)
Jaysuma Ndure (Norway)
Travis Padgett
Right now, all the loyal T&FN posters are calling up Wasserman, begging for them to open up the doors of TS again and get the riff-raff out of their forums

Originally posted by TrackDaddyJust about everyone thinks Dix will win. I think Dix will be in the mix and MR will nip him at the tape. Dix hasn't raced much this year and MR has been killing it since indoor.
Because although obviously Dix could lose in this race, I think the one thing that is rather obvious is that if he does lose, he will not be losing by getting out to a lead and then losing it to the field, rather, he would lose by starting out slow and then running out of real estate before he has enough time to blow past everyone.
Dix always starts out near the back of the pack and then beats up on everyone in the mph game. So if MR beat him, it would be because Dix wasn't quite able to catch up and nip him before they crossed the finish line, not the other way around.
Anyway, I still say
1. Dix
2. Padgett
3. Martina

I know Nik, we too REAL for this site. They can't handle us and the truth we bring. Poor lil TF&N posters...aww
This whole "us versus them" attitude can do no good and can only do harm.
There is no us or them anymore. We are all one now. So maybe instead of trying to start a huge fuss and commotion about it, instead maybe try to take the opportunity to make a few new friends and get to know the new crowd. I am sure if you treat everyone with as much respect as you want in return, everything will work out much better than if all the tracksharkers put up a huge "We're here, and you can't stop us, so screw off and let us talk amongst ourselves while you stay out of our way" kind of attitude. Nothing good is ever gonna come out of that shit.
