This is a ridiculously stacked field. It would sure be nice to see a world leading result come out of this meet.
If you're ever walking down the beach and you see a girl dressed in a bikini made out of seashells, and you pick her up and hold her to your ear, you can hear her scream.

Absolutely. I can't wait, especially to see what shape Silnov is in. I'm sure Ukhov's 2.40m blew away any post Beijing lethargy he may have had....

For me, a good benchmark for whether the amount of HJ coverage was decent is whether we get to see more makes than misses or not. All too often we get nothing except a quick shot of 2nd place missing his (or her) final attempt at a height, then the winner with their final clearance, followed by a miss or three at some higher height.

But it's sad that that's become my cutoff for "decent."

It is very sad....... probably the greatest assembled field in the last 10 years and we get to see maybe 2 jumpers maximum 3

Is it really wise to go 2.21 - 2.26 - 2.31? They seem to be in a hurry to get rid of the jumpers.

And filmed from behind the mats. Thus not possible to see the plant. Brilliant!!!

Wow Silnov really bombed out.. I was expecting a little more from him. Did anyone see his extremely awkward interview on Runners World?!

                          A bit steep progression.
Not sure I agree with Williams's decision to pass until 2.21. That brought him to 2.31 already in his third jump.

I did not expect Silnov to be back on top after his injury. Manson disappointed (not too surprised). But he is 25 now and it is time to get more stable.

Has Jonas been having injury problems this spring?

I sure liked Ukhov. He really gets low in his penultimate stride.

That's the typical US coverage for you. If it had been Eurosport....

1 stinking jump is all the coverage we got. What a let down. Can't Dwight pull any more weight than that?

Is it just me or Ukhov look like a linebacker. Maybe it is my TV but man he sure seems to be beefier than the average elite HJer.
