Re USA runners: Big PR for Jager (as noted above). Also mile PRs for Lomong & Leer (though each has 1500m PR that converts to superior mile time). As for Webb, I am somewhat relieved simply to see him improving this year, with a time that at least puts him among the half dozen or so who might be the top prospects to finish in the top 3 at USA championships.

It should have been a PR for Jager, y'all saw the pace of the race and he was in the back of the pack :shock: and obviously Kiprop could have run faster, were it not for the kisses to the crowd and what not. LOL

People were excited about Oregon and the 4xmile (although the one weak leg hurt the final time). However, consider this Wisconsin foursome if a couple of principals had not departed:

Bethke has run one sub-4 (3.59,85 indoors) and has an outdoor 3.42,82 (4.00,65c) 1.500m best. That "several" is a stretch, but he is still a sub-4 miler, nevertheless.
