    Thanks KevinM what Ivy league school you rep'?????You know I stick up for the little man/woman!!!!!!!!
    I was joking. The event has already been held, and Maduka was out of the money.

    And I will shed no tears for the Ivy "little man/woman"! Those poor Harvard grads!
    She'll be back for the next three yrs count on it.

    I was just perusing the results and noticed what you described above. This is quite remarkable indeed. Wondering if any of the stat mavens around here could dig up a result that exceeded this (in terms of closeness). :!:

    Don't know exactly how you define "major" but this has to be the closest major meet field finish ever.
    - 2 cm from first to sixth
    - Three tied for best mark, with the winner moving from third to first by improving her second best by over two meters on the final jump;
    - Fourth one cm back and with a better 2nd best mark than any of the top three
    - Fifth two cm back and with a better 2nd best mark than any of the top four
    - Sixth also two cm back and with a better fourth best mark than any of the top four had for their 2nd best
