The word around the stadium is that they were way out of the zone, but I couldn't see from where I was. Does anyone know where I might find a video of this race?
Since CBS has the broadcast rights, NCAA.com is probably your only hope. FloTrack.org has only interviews.

And now that you mention it, the relay zones are very hard to see. Just yellow lines on the track. And from my press box seat, I was about as far from the 2nd exchange zone as can be.

Just furthers my argument that every track in the nation should mark their 4x1 zones like Cal does, with the entire zone being a different color from the rest of the track.

Cal picked that up from Washington State (not sure if John Chaplin invented the idea on his own, but it's a fabulous one)

LSU blew the first pass, second runner getting out too slowly and then they couldn't connect the pass as they were too close to each other.

A&M smashed that old record

Sad to see it go, and LSU a DNF in the process.

Would have won silver, and missed gold by .05 in Beijing.

Super fast for A&M, and not one of the gals is a senior, so they have the potential to better their own CR. However, it'd be a bit of a shock if Lucas stays for another year. Any word on her staying or signing with a sponsor?

I would hope she makes that decision AFTER US nationals. Depending on what she run and some of our other top girls as well. I personally don't think she is in the top five US runners in the 200. But she can prove me wrong this weekend and at Nationals possibly.
