Whoops, I meant who has the best shot at winning not named Kuijken?

Must admit I was surprised to see Bowman listed 4th.

What happened to Bowman at Regional? She ran 4:13.xx heat then 4:22xx final.

Was she injured or ill? Did she try to rely on her kick?

Based on her races at PennR and SEC, she should be able to run 4:15c heat and 4:05c final. Without Kipyego, Bowman must set the pace IMHO.

After watching Bowman get outkicked, what was it, three times at Penn last year, I don't think setting the pace is her strong suit. Doesn't she have the wheels to go with the leaders and then let 'er rip with 200 to go? She's got that long stride, not huge turnover, so I wouldn't wait until the last 80.

I disagree, but I appreciate the response.

In January 2008 she had emergency surgery, so its not surprising that her coach said that she is in much better shape this year. In addition, she said that she wasn't agresssive at OT and she will be agressive at nationals in 2009.
