  • Is Usain Bolt's 100m race going to be on tv tomorrow?

Does anyone know if it will be televised, and if yes, then which stations it will be shown on? Thanks

Also, feel free to post your predictions for what his time will be here.

see Webcast link in Results box on front page.

Last I heard, weather predictions were bad, suggesting poor conditions for fast times.

It is not going to be on TV, but ESPN360.com will carry webcast.

Must note that to get ESPN360 webcast in USA, you must be accessing it from a US college campus or on Military Base. To access it from outside those two forum, will require you be a customer of their internet provider partner, VERIZON. They Suck!! Only way for me to watch the meet, is for me to go to former school and used a guess pass to access the computer in campus computer lab.

My friends are saying its raining for past couple days in Toronto area and with that in mind. I think a sub 9.9 is on/possible, but with better weather, I was leaning towards a sub 9.8.

PS, As we all know maybe in this case (in regards to Espn360), there might be more than one way to skin a goat. 8-)

Nasty in Manchester - didn't seem to slow him. With modern tracks and spikes and running tights, it seems the only thing that can slow him is -wind.

Are you referring to ESPN360 webcasts in general, or just specific restrictions about Bolt's next track meet? My Internet provider is not Verizon, but I am able to watch something on ESPN360.com.

Yes, Espn360.com website in general. I just came from there again and tried to click on Soccer Games that is available to watch and a red box come up, saying it detect that my computer is not on college compus or military base. And, to log in remotely using a Verizon acc# etc.

So, yes accessing ESPN360.com directly and trying to watch programs is block. Now, as I said,...there is maybe more that one way to skin a goat. For example using another website that has someone streaming content from Espn360. But, programs directly from ESPN360.com itself is block unless you meet their criteria.

Not like...it's going to make people go out and sign up with Verizon or their DSL. I don't even visit that website much, because of what they do. They suck!

I can watch the content directly from the ESPN360 web site. ESPN360 must have a number of deals with different Internet providers, not just Verizon.

Think I need to be more specific here, in my area their affiliate partners are Verizon. So, each area their affiliate partners maybe different. But, the bottomline is, if you not with their affiliate partners, or on a college compus or US military base, you cannot view programs directly from their website. They suck!

It's supposed to be quite nice tomorrow in Toronto.
                  http://www.theweathernetwork.com/weather/caon0696
And it's also on TSN for the Canadian users.
With a north wind, it will be a slight tail wind as well.

Thursday, June 11th. 1 hour live coverage on TSN in Canada, starting at 4:30 pm Pacific. Supposed to be a repeat show at 7:30 pm Pacific, but there is this basketball game going on in Orlando starting at 6:00 pm Pacific, and TSN has been covering that series as well. My best guess is that the 4:30 Pacific time will hold, and there may be a repeat after the ball game.

Drum roll....is upon us. Hey, so excited!!! Bolt to da World!!

I think he mentioned in Manchester that he has one more month of hard training before the season really kicks off.

That month as come to past, lets see what he's going to day on a cloudy, windy and not so warm day in Toronto.

Fly to Canada.....very, very quickly... Or find a pub with some kind of world-wide satellite dish option --- TSN is the National Sport Network in Canada,
and I'm sure the feed will be picked up in many places.
