The video is from the cross country championships, not outdoor T&F. Definitely Knoxville, 1971.

Looks like Van Cortlandt Park which makes in 1969.

I think it's his 1st win (as a soph; where?), which would indeed make it 1970. Pre wore a T-shirt under his singlet as a frosh at New York (pic on the goducks bio page).

At Knoxville, Mike Slack (North Dakota State) was the runner thought to be Liquori, I believe.

VCP must've had no trees back then. To the east is the meadow and the trees. To the west is Broadway. And that shot looks like, if it is VCP, it's taken from the west (Broadway side).

As Brian pointed out, that's not VCP, as Pre raced in a different top his frosh year.
