  • Borlée-Related Trivia Question

Before Jonathan Borlée, who was the last NCAA champion with an accent aigu in his name?

(Fair disclosure--I don't know the answer. I don't even know if there's ever been one.)

Haven't heard that term since sophomore year HS French class - circa 1983.

I think you have one too many there. IIRC, it was Éwanje-Épée.

I'd say look at the 2003 NCAA championships (foreign winners were from Canada, Jamaica, Trinidad, France, Ukraine, Latvia, Ireland, Poland, France, England, South Africa and the Bahamas according to NY Times).
