Has any one else noticed how the U.S. has grown in stature in the women's 100 H in the past eight or nine years? I remember a time in the not too far past that it was a rarity to find a woman from the U.S. running under 13 seconds, now we have many running under that time. What ever has happened in that venue should be studied carefully. We need that same kind of progress in the men's middle distances.

Re: Women Hurdlers
Right on!! Women are pole vaulting, throwing the hammer, running the same spate of distance events as men, moving towards a decathlon....and STILL running the same dainty ladies 100 hurdles event which replaced the absurdly unchallenging 80 metre event some 31 years ago??!! What gives with this anyway? Women should be running 110 metre hurdles 36" high and spaced the same as the men's event. JJK would have been unbeatable in such an event. Is there any talk of this happening within the next century?
