Why Julie Pickler (since scratched) #2 and Diana Pickler #7? Shouldn't they be swapped?

I don't know what's more exciting, the time or the legal wind.

The announcers must be having fun with the 3rd place finisher's name, Nia-Sifaatihii Ali. Say that fast 10 times.

She goes by Nia Ali (NIGH-uh Ah-LEE).

Fountain leading with 4038 after day 1. Is that a PR for her?

That's impressive. All things being equal it's looking like quite a close Dobrynska-Fountain-Ennis contest in Berlin.

                      gh,

I am almost positive it is NEE-uh. Suggest you have someone check with her.

4038 is an extremely strong first day. If she can go close to her PB's day two,
she could approach 6900; and something above 6700 seems highly plausible.

Nope, she had 4060 in Beijing.

My points table gives 4050; that is 1140+1067+793+1050= 4050 points , not 4063

In any case she had a gale behind her in the 200m of 3.6 m/s.

I predict she will total 6775 points.

In Beijing LJ did not well for Fountain, today was very good (wind helps it). She can now beat her PB.
