David Oliver, who won the Olympic bronze medal in Beijing and ended last season ranked #1 in the U.S. and #2 in the world, will not be on hand to defend his 2008 national title. Oliver is suffering from a recent left calf strain and will not compete in Eugene.

      Oliver
      Trammell
      Wilson

This one is worth the admission price. All of the top ten could make the team. How many lanes does Hayward field have? I think they should add a couple for the final of this race.

Wish I would have seen it earlier. :x Why is he still on the start list then? :?

Dang. Ronnie Ash quit his heat with about 10 to 15 meters to go faded and failed to qualify. All he had to do was even half way run to the tape and he finishes second in his heat.

Faulk looked best. Trammel slowed considerably in his heat after clear lead. Purposeful? Or injury?

Congrats to Merritt first and foremost, finishing 4th at OT in this event is a killer.

                              Trammell
                              Payne
                              Faulk
A very close race where Faulk failed. For Berlin it seems US against Robles where Robles is the favorite (Oliver would be a best challenger).
