Nah Nik, that field not that weak, it will be a very competitve field, I'm going with with Kerron for 2nd and X for third, Smith for 4th.

      PS...long live Rock

Folks need to watch out for Reggie Witherspoon, Lajerald Betters and Jordan Boase.

          other than that,

peg me for Xman in 2nd. 3rd is going to be a battle, tho I think Larry ahs an upper hand with the efforts he's shown thus far.

Okay thanks I personally am glad to see him try the open 400 anyway.

Eh, I don't know - it certainly feels weaker than in years past, probably because JW isn't involved. I just can't imagine Spoon, Neville, or anyone else really pushing a time anywhere near 44.50 or so. It just has a feeling to me of Merritt winning going away and a five or six person pile up at 45.00 for spots in Berlin.

Hmm, maybe you're right. It just feels like there's just aren't a lot of notable performances this year that will lead me to think anyone will challenge Merritt. I'm not expecting anyone other than Merritt under 44.50.

Boase is still not 100%, Betters has looked up and down (when he was running).

WIlliamson in the top 3??????? I've seen stranger things, but that may be a reach if I have ever seen one.

At nationals only, that may be true, but only one person is going to "challenge" Merritt this yr anyways, well maybe 2.

I know folks are tired of hearing this, but if Carter chooses only the 400m's, I can see him under 44.50 by a decent margin.

Are you asking me if he will be under 44.50 by a good margin at US nationals?
